The Saudi Arabian stock market ended Sunday trading lower amid negative performance from the electricity, cement, and media sectors.

At the close on the Saudi Arabian stock exchange, Tadawul All Share fell by 1.30%.

Among the growth leaders among components of the Tadawul All Share index following today’s trading were shares of Arriyadh dev (TADAWUL:4150), which gained 0.90 p. (5.68%), closing at 16.75. Quotes of Saudi reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) rose by 1.02 p. (3.67%), finishing the session at 28.82. Shares of Saudi automotibles (TADAWUL:4050) increased in price by 1.50 p. (3.40%), closing at 45.62.

The fall leaders were shares of Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company JSC (TADAWUL:2223), whose price dropped by 14.10 points (9.97%), closing the session at 127.30. Shares of KEC (TADAWUL:4310) rose by 1.01 point (5.08%), closing at 18.88, while Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) fell by 0.41 point (4.96%) and finished trading at 7.85.

On the Saudi Arabian stock exchange, the number of declining stocks (268) exceeded the number of those that closed higher (67), and the quotes of 15 shares changed practically not at all.

The WTI oil futures contract for October delivery on futures on oil futures lost 2.43%, or 2.49, reaching $99.99 per barrel. As for other commodities, prices for November-delivered Brent oil futures fell by 2.94%, or 3.16, to $104.47 per barrel. Gold futures for December delivery declined by 0.39%, or 17.30, to $4,390.00 per troy ounce.

Meanwhile on the Forex market, the EUR/SAR pair fell by 0.11% to 4.35, while USD/SAR quotes were unchanged at 0.02%, reaching 3.76.
