Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google are discussing the creation of an AI industry standards body. According to ChainCatcher, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called on AI companies to coordinate technical testing and audits.

OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman said he supports establishing a testing and auditing body, but believes major AI labs should form an industry standards organization themselves rather than rely on the U.S. government.
