Ethereum ETFs add US$ 216 million; Bitcoin ETFs remain in the red

US Bitcoin ETFs logged a fourth consecutive day of net outflows on Friday, September 11, with $13.29M withdrawn. By contrast, ether ETFs attracted $216.41M and are on a fourth consecutive positive week. Institutional investors appear to still be present in the crypto market, but their interest is shifting.

Bitcoin ETFs lost $13.29M on Friday and $462.73M over the week.

The six ether ETFs recorded inflows of $216.41M, largely thanks to BlackRock’s ETHA.

August’s US CPI rose 0.4% month-over-month, while core inflation stands at 2.4% year-over-year.

Bitcoin ETFs post four straight red sessions

The $13.29M outflows recorded on Friday may seem modest. However, the trend is starting to become harder to ignore. After ending the week of September 4 with net inflows of $986.9M, Bitcoin ETFs have now strung together four sessions of outflows, deepening an annual deficit close to $1,000 million.

According to data compiled by Bitcoin.com News, BlackRock’s IBIT suffered outflows of $19.23M. Morgan Stanley, with MSBT, attracted $3.76M, while VanEck’s HODL recorded inflows of $2.18M.

For the full week, outflows total $462.73M. Bitcoin ETFs generated $2.60B in trading volume on Friday and now total $97.58B in net assets. At the same time, BTC remains rangebound around $77,000.
