$AMD Current price 510.35, down 1.20% in 24h. It looks calm, but with this range, the trading volume actually expanded—within a small move from 516 to 510, nearly a 0.7% drop happened in under two hours.
Most people only watch the daily up/down and ignore the fact that the intraday high-low range is only 8.5 points. 510.1 is today’s intraday low; it’s just 0.25 dollars away from the current price. This kind of “close-by-the-close” structure suggests a vacuum zone around 508 below it, and the rumors from Meta about AI-related capex haven’t been fully priced into the chip stocks yet.
On the TradFi tokenization side, $AMD runs 7x24. The narrow after-hours consolidation in the US market often serves as a prelude to the direction during the Asian session. My outlook is bearish—if 510 breaks down, the next level to watch is 502.
Of course, it could also be me overthinking, since $AMD ’s fundamentals haven’t really worsened within the year. But with volume and price as they are, I personally reduced my position by half first.
