Didn't expect to wait this many years, but the second-generation Roadster finally has some news again. Tesla posted on X a “Go for launch” message, with the image caption “10.01,” suggesting that the new vehicle will be unveiled on October 1, 2026. This sports car first made an appearance as early as 2017, and has since been delayed multiple times. Previously, Musk also said that even after the official release, it would still likely take another 12 to 18 months to reach mass production.

I think the most important thing to watch now isn’t how outrageous the specs are, but whether this timetable can really be delivered—after all, it has already been postponed several times.

Do you think the Roadster can successfully move into mass production this time?
