Bitcoin at $400,000 in 2030 is still reasonable for Armstrong

For Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, Bitcoin at $400,000 for 2030 remains a reasonable goal. To reach it from its current price, BTC would need to multiply by more than five.

Brian Armstrong estimates that Bitcoin at $400,000 for 2030 is still a realistic target.

BTC would need to rise by more than 400% from its current level to reach this goal.

Coinbase’s CEO believes Bitcoin has already hit the bottom in its current cycle.

The 2028 halving and U.S. regulation could support his scenario.

Bitcoin still needs to sustainably break above $81,500 before aiming for its previous all-time high.

Bitcoin should gain more than 400% by 2030

In an interview with CNBC on September 10, Brian Armstrong reaffirmed his projection. Asked about the possibility of seeing Bitcoin near $400,000 before 2030, he replied that he has always considered this target to be realistic.

Currently, BTC is trading around $77,000. It is still about 39% below its record of $126,198 reached in October 2025.

Bitcoin should rise by approximately 420% from $77,000;

Its price should multiply by about 5.2;

The target would be 217% higher than the October 2025 record;

Its market capitalization would approach $8 trillion with 20 million BTC in circulation.
