The launch of the iPhone 18 Pro shows how far the value of Bitcoin (BTC) has risen over the past 15 years. The price of Apple’s flagship phone now requires only a very small share of \u003cc-23/\u003e.

The iPhone 18 Pro is priced at US$1,199, while the Pro Max version is around US$1,299 in the United States. With Bitcoin at US$78,275 at the time this article was written, Thursday (10/09), its price is equivalent to 0,0153 BTC and 0,0166 BTC.

Meanwhile, this year’s top-tier Apple product—the foldable iPhone Duo—priced at US$1,999 is only equivalent to 0,0255 \u003cc-9/\u003e.

If compared to Bitcoin’s early days, the difference feels extreme. CoinGecko data shows the iPhone 4S in 2011 had a value equivalent to 162 BTC. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 years ago only required about 0.007 BTC, because that release happened when the price of Bitcoin was in the range of US$111 thousand.
