First, we use the number of trades to gauge experience, then use years; later, we measure it by how many bull and bear cycles you’ve gone through. But in the end, you’ll find that you can’t create trading skill based on “time and experience” alone. Real trading experience isn’t built only by what the market puts you through; it’s built by what you learn from it and, just as importantly, what you stop repeating—so that you become a truly seasoned trader.
