$BTC is still holding around the $77K area, but the market feels much more cautious than it did during the recent move toward $80K. Recent data shows that profit-taking and leverage flushes have added pressure, while the next major macro catalyst is the Federal Reserve meeting next week.

U.S. August CPI came in at 3.4% year over year, with core CPI rising 0.3% month over month, which has increased expectations for a rate hike. For me, this is not a market where I want to make extreme predictions. Bitcoin can react quickly to changes in rate expectations, so I’m more interested in how price behaves around the recent $76K–$78K area than in guessing the next big move. I’m watching the data, managing risk, and not chasing candles. What are you watching right now — $BTC reclaiming $80K or another period of consolidation?
