Received my first dividends from bStocks. A whole 0,00001712 NVDAB 😁
When I was putting together my mini bStocks portfolio for $5, NVIDIA was one of the first purchases.
And here’s my first real corporate action — NVIDIA paid out dividends.
With my $5, of course, it’s not exactly mind-blowing — 0,00001712 NVDAB 😁 But what’s more interesting is how this works with bStocks.
I didn’t receive a separate USDT payout. Binance automatically adjusted my NVDAB balance using the Multiplier. At the same time, the economic exposure to the underlying stock stayed the same — the amount of bStock changed proportionally.
So the corporate event from NVIDIA on the stock market was automatically reflected in my tokenized asset. Nothing was required from me — in the history, Cash Dividends appeared, along with additional NVDAB.
For a $5 dividend strategy, I’ll say it’s so-so 😁 But now I can demonstrate how the bStocks mechanism works using my own transaction.
