This sideways consolidation is, in essence, both long and short waiting for the other side to make the first move. The contract open interest hasn’t expanded, which indicates the main force hasn’t picked a side yet.
I just placed the gate/boom barrier remote control on the table, and switched the screen back to the LAB four-hour chart. Trading volume has shrunk to the extreme; the MACD is sticking below the zero axis—this is a sign before a turnaround. The range from 0.0845 to 0.086 is the area of densely traded prior highs, and it’s being strongly capped. Below, 0.078 is the neckline of this upward move; once it breaks, selling will accelerate.
My bias is bearish. Around the current price of 0.081, open a small position short directly; add another short at 0.0835. Set the defense stop above 0.0865. The first target is 0.0775, and the second target is 0.074. If price increases and holds above 0.0865 on strong volume, stop out the short and reverse to go long toward 0.092.
