A cluster of 19 linked Polymarket accounts placed concentrated bets over the past few months on earnings reports from publicly listed companies audited by KPMG, including Wells Fargo, Home Depot, DoorDash, and General Mills. According to Odaily, the accounts made 42 trades, won 41 of them, and generated about $22,000 in profit.
Funds reportedly moved among the 19 accounts, suggesting they may have been controlled by the same person or team. U.S. law enforcement is investigating a KPMG employee suspected of using Polymarket for insider trading after betting on whether quarterly results at listed companies would beat market expectations. It is not yet clear whether the account cluster is linked to the employee, and the analysis does not by itself prove insider trading. KPMG said it has a zero-tolerance policy toward trading on nonpublic client information and has strengthened related monitoring.
