Tokenized U.S. stocks on the BNB Chain—trading is already highly concentrated

Public data shows that in the tokenized U.S. stocks business, trading is increasingly concentrating on bStocks on the BNB Chain. In July, bStocks alone accounted for about 83% of all tokenized stock trading across the market. In a report updated by Binance Research on September 11, this product line’s share in August was still around the 80% mark; the underlying assets also expanded from a handful of trading pairs to tech stocks and ETFs. After going live in June, volume surged quickly, and in July alone, monthly trading reached a scale of several billion dollars.

High share indicates that users and liquidity are willing to gather around the same order book; even in after-hours sessions, trading can continue. But concentration has another side: if regulatory guidance or trading enthusiasm changes, this business may see more pronounced ups and downs. What to watch next is whether trading can broaden from a few popular tickers to a wider range of stocks.
