CPI is coming… but will the Fed hike or hold? 👀
Nonfarm payrolls came in stronger than expected, and now all eyes are on CPI. The big question is whether the Fed will keep rates unchanged or become more hawkish if inflation comes in hotter than expected.
My current view is cautious rather than blindly bullish. Higher inflation could push yields and DXY higher, creating more pressure on risk assets. That’s why I’m watching price action and liquidity instead of chasing every move.
On CKBUSDT the 1H chart is showing a recovery attempt after finding support around 0.0010329. Momentum improved, with MACD histogram turning positive, but price is now facing resistance around the 0.001086–0.00109 area. A clean break above that zone could improve the short-term structure, while rejection could send price back toward the recent support.
For me, CPI is the bigger catalyst. If inflation stays controlled, risk assets could get some breathing room. If CPI surprises higher, leverage could unwind quickly.
