$BTC The UK has now directly gone all in on its “national-level Crypto strategy”!

The House of Lords has already passed key amendments.

The government has been asked to develop a nationwide encryption strategy!

Regulatory thinking has begun to shift from mere control to long-term planning.

The UK clearly doesn’t want to fall behind in the Crypto race this time!

The UK’s latest move in the House of Lords has passed an amendment requiring the government to establish a national Crypto strategy. In the future, policy direction will be formed more uniformly around digital asset regulation, innovation, business development, and financial infrastructure. However, what has been passed so far is only an amendment—not the full national strategy officially taking effect yet. Further steps will still be needed through the parliamentary and legislative process.

What’s really interesting is that the policy level is being raised: Crypto is no longer just a standalone regulatory topic, but is being placed into a national competitiveness and financial strategy framework. The US, the UK, and across Asia are all racing to set the rules and attract capital. Whoever defines the regulatory boundaries first is more likely to keep trading, institutions, and on-chain finance at home.

Previously, it was the industry pushing the government to provide rules. Now it’s turning into the government being required to come up with the whole set of strategy.

If the UK actually implements this framework, then in the next round of Crypto competition, it won’t just be about price anymore—it will be about who can move financial infrastructure on-chain first!
