$ETH You got the direction right, yet the account is still losing money?
Have you noticed something particularly strange about trading:
A person can be very accurate about direction, but the account still ends up losing.
When I first started trading, I also thought making money was simply about understanding the market.
If it goes up, buy; if it falls, sell—then study a few indicators and listen to the so-called experts’ opinions.
After a while, things naturally become stable.
Only after going through a few rounds of losses did I realize—
The hardest part is not really “seeing it.”
It’s what to do after you’re wrong.
You think it will rise, but the price keeps dropping—will you still accept it?
After three consecutive stop-outs, will you dare to place the fourth trade according to the plan?
You just earned 5%, then it retraces 3%—do you keep holding, or do you panic that profits will vanish and run immediately?
Many people’s real problem is right here.
When they’re making money, they’re extremely cautious.
As soon as there’s a little unrealized profit, they rush to exit, afraid the money they’re about to get will be given back.
When they’re losing, they’re the opposite—extra patient.
With a single “wait a bit longer,” they can wait for hours, even days.
In the end, a small loss turns into a big hole.
So later on, I asked others less and less whether they’re “bullish” or “bearish.”
What I want to know is: if you’re wrong, what are you prepared to do?
Position sizing is the same.
Going all-in doesn’t prove you have confidence.
It only means that this judgment is too important to you.
When you truly encounter a streak of mistakes—
whether your account has enough buffer determines whether you can keep trading.
After trading for a long time, you realize—
the market won’t end just because you miss one opportunity.
The rarest skill isn’t guessing correctly every time.
It’s not getting yourself hurt when you guess wrong.
Making money is, of course, important.
But being able to contain losses within a small range when you’re wrong—
that’s also a kind of ability.#CPI数据来袭能否触发9月加息
