$AERO This one has something to it.
On the 15m chart, it pushed a point and the volume directly hit 3.65x. OI was up 4.44% in one hour, and notional longs added about $1.85M. Price is up and OI is up—this is a classic leveraged long building a position, not some phantom short-covering.
The key is that the OI abnormal percentile is already 99.2%—second in the whole pool—and it has continued across several consecutive cycles. Active buying is 5.1% bullish, the buy/sell ratio is 1.11, and for now I haven’t seen a clear “opposing side” dumping.
As for AERO, at this point it’s already close to the upper edge of the recent range. Above that is its own historical extreme zone. This kind of structure either breaks out with acceleration, or it’s the final surge before a liquidity hunt—don’t blindly chase.
Keep a close eye on OI: if price stalls sideways but OI keeps rising, that’s when things really get interesting. If it drops back and OI doesn’t fall, then you’re the one getting left holding the bag.
