Beginner’s Guide: Today I’ll teach you a crypto concept—Gas fees. It isn’t a platform cut. Instead, when you initiate a transfer or exchange on the blockchain, you pay a service fee to the network validators. When the network is congested, Gas can get more expensive; fees also vary across different chains. Before making a transfer, make sure you clearly check the network name and the fee—don’t randomly send assets that only support one chain to another chain. Do a small test first; it can really save you a lot of “tuition.”
