This morning I saw the big pancake trading under 77000, and in the group chat people started shouting 75k, 70k again. I opened my own DCA records: that $500 order from last Wednesday is still there. When I bought, I also hesitated—what if I bought in the middle of the slope? Now looking back, the price has fallen a little more, and somehow my heart feels steadier than when I hadn’t bought yet.

The most counterintuitive part of DCA is: it doesn’t solve “buying at the very bottom.” It solves “having coins in my hands ten years from now.” During the capital-accumulation stage, what I fear most isn’t just short-term unrealized loss—it’s when emotions kick in and make me add positions chaotically, or simply stop. DCA effectively fires myself from the business of “predicting.” I just do what I’m supposed to do every day.

No panic when it dips, because I’ve already admitted I can’t guess the bottom correctly. 😌
