On September 11, according to Bloomberg, Riot Games, a Tencent-owned video game developer of popular titles including League of Legends and Valorant, has recently discussed esports sponsorship cooperation with two major prediction market operators, Kalshi and Polymarket, sources familiar with the matter said. In an email, Riot Games spokesperson Joe Hixson said: "Prediction markets are an emerging area, and we are evaluating them, focusing on maintaining the integrity of competition, the potential value to teams, the impact on fan experiences, and alignment with our overall ecosystem goals."
