$BTC #永久退出炒币 遗言
To all my friends in the crypto community, old and new:
Here, based on my own experience, I want to explain to you. Starting today, I will permanently exit this space. First, let me introduce myself and explain the reasons for my permanent departure. I hope the young people take notice ⚠️.
⚠️I am 45 years old this year. I entered the crypto world in 2012. At first, I learned about Bitcoin through a technical friend who mined with computers. I followed along and learned from him. Later, I bought a large amount of coins—BTC, Dogecoin, ETH, and others—on some “shady” exchanges because I didn’t know how to use wallets. As a result, I couldn’t withdraw those coins, and the exchange ran away. The first failure.
⚠️Between 2012 and 2016, my business was doing very well, so I didn’t pay attention to the so-called “coins” (BTC). In 2016, my business declined and I had a lot of spare funds on hand. Then I became interested in Bitcoin again, and at that time I was trading on Huobi. In 2017, I invested several million into the crypto market. Before August, I made quite a bit of money. But in September, the government’s policies changed suddenly, causing my funds to be cut off directly in the middle. Under domestic crackdowns, I had no choice but to sell Bitcoin at a low price. I was supposed to have doubled my profit, but because of the policy, I ended up losing 40%—both my gains and my principal. The second failure.
⚠️At the end of 2017 through early 2018. To turn things around and recover the losses, I studied Bitcoin’s technology in detail, as well as various underlying technologies. I wanted to build confidence in investments. So my focus shifted from investing in Bitcoin to mining machines and computing power. That’s when I used part of my remaining funds—over 500,000 yuan—to buy mining machines and computing power.
But what I didn’t expect was that for the next two years, around 2018 to 2020, the crypto market was sluggish. Coin prices couldn’t cover the electricity and maintenance costs for the mining machines. Also, mining machine technology updated too quickly, so they could only be sold by weight. At that time, the loss of my principal was over 400,000. The third failure.
⚠️In 2020, I still wasn’t willing to give up. Although the pandemic had started, I began using contracts and other methods to play with digital currencies. But sadly, my account balance kept losing quickly.
⚠️From 2023 to 2026, for luck, as well as the habits and mindset of contract gambling, I used digital currencies to play all kinds of games, including 🎰 type games. For three straight years, I kept losing badly. So much so that I ended up with a small amount of debt.
After thinking it through carefully and going over everything, remembering my experiences investing in the crypto world over these past ten-plus years, I not only lost a huge amount of money, but I also developed a gambler’s mentality. Therefore, I have decided to permanently exit.
