Today I learned a word: Gas fee. It’s not a platform’s arbitrarily charged service fee; it’s the cost you pay to have the blockchain network compute and package (process) your transaction. The more congested the network is, the more expensive it usually is. Also, a small transfer amount doesn’t necessarily mean the Gas fee will be low. Before you do anything, confirm that the network, the coin, and the recipient address match, then check the estimated fee. For your first transfer, it’s recommended to test with a small amount; once it arrives, you can transfer a larger amount.
