$GOOGL.US Financial markets are undergoing a tectonic shift. The world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock, with $14 trillion in assets, no longer considers cryptocurrencies a mere speculative toy. In its 2026 outlook, the company called tokenization “the most important financial infrastructure,” which will reshape global flows of money. And one of the clearest practical manifestations of this trend has been the launch of bStocks on Binance.

According to the World Bank, 1.3 billion adults worldwide still do not have bank accounts. At the same time, about 700 million people have a brokerage account — meaning nearly 89% of the planet’s population lacks full access to the U.S. stock market, the largest pool of investment capital on Earth. bStocks is an attempt to change this reality.

What are bStocks and why does it matter?

bStocks — are tokenized securities backed by real U.S. stocks on a 1:1 basis. If access to the U.S. equities market for non-residents used to come with bureaucracy and time restrictions, now any Binance user (in permitted jurisdictions) can trade tokens tied to NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Goldman Sachs, and dozens of other companies — 24/7, 7 days a week.

Each token is a standard BEP-20 on BNB Chain, which you can store in your own wallet and use in DeFi applications. The minimum purchase amount is just $5, and conversion between the real share and its tokenized version happens with zero fees and instantly.

Not just tokens, but a regulated bridge

The key difference between bStocks and many “synthetic” tokenized products is full compliance with regulatory requirements. The issuance is carried out through the BTech Holdings Limited structure (an affiliate of Binance) and approved by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi under the ADGM regime. This means that each bStock is backed by a real share held by a regulated custodian — not just a record in a database.

Moreover, bStocks became the first tokenized securities included in the official FSRA list. You can check the backing at any time on the Proof of Collateral page.

Numbers that speak for themselves

Since launching in June 2026, bStocks have shown explosive growth. A report by research firm Delphi Digital found that bStocks scaled faster than any other tokenized product on the market: trading volume grew from $1.8 billion** in the first 24 days to **$14.7 billion by the second month.

By the end of July, bStocks added more than $565.9 million in tokenized share value — a +5,000% increase in just seven weeks. At its peak, bStocks accounted for 27% of the global capitalization of the tokenized equities market.

User profiles are especially telling: 88% of bStocks buyers already owned other digital assets before their first trade in tokenized shares. These aren’t traders coming from the traditional brokerage world — they’re crypto users who, for the first time, get access to stocks directly in the same app where they trade Bitcoin. For a growing number of people, tokenized shares are becoming the easiest route to the stock market.

Execution resilience: not just “open 24/7”

Trading around the clock is one thing, but ensuring quality execution during off-hours is completely different. Many over-the-counter markets suffer from thin order books and wide spreads. Delphi Digital tested this: a $100,000 order in NVIDIA shares during the U.S. session and after the market closed showed a similar slippage level — 0.3–0.5% in both cases. Prices barely moved regardless of whether the main market was open.

This stability is explained by the depth of the order book: the same $100,000 order was executed across 53 separate price levels, and none of them accounted for a significant share of the total volume.

Moreover, 44% of bStocks trading volume comes during hours when the U.S. market is closed. And on weekends, bStocks “price in” on average 92% of the stock’s movement by the time the market opens on Monday at Wall Street. In gaps of more than 3%, bStocks correctly predicted the direction of movement in all 41 observations since launch.

How it works in practice

The mechanics of bStocks are thought through to the smallest details:

· 1:1 conversion: the exchange between a bStock and the real share happens instantly, in both directions and with no fees.

· Trading fees: a fixed fee of **$0.35** per trade, or **0.1%** spread for orders above $340. During the promo period, fees were cut in half.

· Dividends: when dividends are paid by the issuing company, the value is automatically reinvested via the Multiplier mechanism — without any action required.

· Use as collateral: starting in August 2026, 10 bStocks (including Netflix, ASML, and Super Micro Computer) were added as collateral assets for cross-margin and portfolio margin, enabling them to improve trading efficiency.

Tokenization as a fundamental trend, not hype

Launching bStocks is not an isolated product, but part of a large-scale movement. The clearinghouse DTCC (serving the U.S. market) launched a pilot program to tokenize Russell 1000 index stocks and Treasury bonds together with BlackRock and Goldman Sachs. Experts estimate that the market for tokenized assets could grow from roughly $600 billion in 2026 to $18.9 trillion by 2033.

In February 2026, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said during an AMA on Binance Square that the tokenization of real-world assets — including gold, rare-earth minerals, and even water — could become a driver comparable in scale to the oil industry.

What’s next?

Binance has already announced that its list of assets will expand — in particular, tokenized SpaceX shares (SPCXB) are expected to be added. The company’s vision is to build a “multi-asset financial super-app,” where a user can track an asset throughout its entire lifecycle: from pre-IPO to direct shares and tokenized versions on the blockchain.

The key thing to remember: bStocks is an innovative product with a dual nature (crypto and traditional securities), so it’s important to understand the risks involved and participate in investing rationally. But one thing is indisputable: tokenization isn’t hype — it’s a fundamental trend, and Binance is already at the center of it.
