$ZEC SHORT SETUP
I’m watching a short on $ZEC — not because Zcash is fundamentally dead, but because the move looks extremely extended.
$ZEC recently broke $1,000 after a ~94% monthly rally, with $34M+ in shorts liquidated.
My thesis:
• Parabolic momentum eventually needs a reset
• Short liquidations have already fueled the move
• I want to see a failed breakout + lower high before entering
• Confirmation > trying to catch the exact top
The bullish case is real: Zcash has strong privacy fundamentals and recent institutional interest.
So I’m NOT blindly shorting here.
Setup: rejection → lower high → support break → short
Invalidation: sustained new highs.
Crypto can stay irrational longer than a leveraged short can stay solvent.
Trade the confirmation, not the emotion.
