#AppleDebutsFoldablePhone

Apple foldable phone: I finally got my hands on Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, and there’s a lot to talk about.

Apple unveiled the Duo on Wednesday ahead of its October launch, marking the company’s biggest iPhone design change in years.

The first thing that stands out is the size. The phone has a 5.4-inch outer display that opens up into a much larger 7.6-inch screen. When folded, it has a compact, almost passport-sized design that sits comfortably in the palm.

At just 5.2mm thick when unfolded, Apple says it’s the thinnest iPhone ever. Folded, it measures 11.3mm and weighs around 254 grams, with a titanium frame helping keep the build lightweight.

But the display is probably the most interesting part.

Apple has used a matte, nano-textured finish on the inner screen, designed to reduce reflections and make the fold crease much less noticeable. After spending some time with it, I was genuinely surprised by how difficult the crease was to see when the display was on.

Overall, the Apple foldable phone feels like a serious first step into a completely new iPhone category. 📱

The big question now is whether Apple can turn this impressive hardware into a must-have upgrade.
