DeepSeek Harness team said version 0.1.5 has been deeply integrated with the DeepSeek V4.1 Flash model across standard mode, programmatic tool calling mode, and minimal mode. According to PANews, the update also supports changing system prompts while keeping the existing KV Cache.

The web version now supports uploading multiple file types, including images and PDFs, along with a sidebar file tree preview. It also allows direct viewing of Markdown, HTML, PDF, code, and images.

The interface adds standardized extension entry points for plugins on the left and right sides, including a global entry, right-side multi-tab display, and split-screen display. The update also improves long-session loading and storage performance, makes parent-agent and child-agent two-way communication more flexible, and introduces an experimental plugin called Agent Teams for multi-agent collaboration and task splitting.
