Taiwanese giant TSMC that makes processors for $AAPLB $NVDAB and $AMD

According to S&P Global and the Wccftech publication, the company already consumes about 9% of all of Taiwan’s electricity. To manufacture just one silicon wafer using the latest 3-nanometer process, it takes more than 40 kWh! 🔋

Due to the AI boom and the production of even thinner chips, the tech giant’s appetite is only growing. Analysts predict that by 2030, TSMC could consume up to 24% of the island’s total power supply. 🏭
Will the world’s energy infrastructure be able to keep up with AI’s demands, or will it be energy shortages that become the main brake on progress? 💭
