I seriously suspect these project teams got together for a meeting:
"So what should we name our coin?"
"Whatever—names the more ridiculous, the more people will buy."
"Then let’s call it Hunter Biden’s laptop!"
And it actually made it to trending.
Now the Fear & Greed Index is 66—market greed, but all that “greed” is pointed at meme coins. $SOL is holding around 103, $ADA has dropped to 0.21, $BCH is just lying at 257—no one’s paying attention to serious projects, while absurd names are everywhere.
So now the logic for choosing a coin is: is the name ridiculous enough?
