Earn without an altseason?
Most people in the crypto market are simply obsessively waiting for the very same long-awaited altseason, while not considering any other possible scenarios for how events might unfold.
And by the way, that’s precisely their biggest mistake. Because people bet All in on exactly one event that supposedly used to happen every 4 years, but last time, for example, it didn’t happen.
And it turns out that people spend their whole lives putting everything on one very risky event and don’t have any backup plan or an answer to the question: “What if it still doesn’t happen?”
And here, again, to be more flexible, not waste your precious time, and earn under any scenario, what will help is—once again—the banal purchase of Bitcoin.
Let me remind you: if a person sincerely believes that Bitcoin won’t grow, then they’re betting that the market itself will never recover again. And with that kind of view, there can be no talk of any altseason.
But if we’re talking about normal crypto investments where you could earn under any scenario— even if in the future there still isn’t an altseason—then of course you should start with buying Bitcoin.
Because Bitcoin will, by definition, grow—and everyone understands that, even a complete beginner. I’ll repeat: every crypto bro except one Raphael knows that Bitcoin will go up, but almost nobody holds it—that’s the classic situation.
In general, the point is this: when you buy Bitcoin (and for example ETH, BNB, etc.), you’re automatically riding the crypto market’s growth and capturing a bigger share of its rise and the opportunities it brings. Think back to the last cycle as an example.
And if an altseason happens at the peak of the growth—great. We’ll move some of the money earned on Bitcoin and top coins into altcoins for potentially huge “x” gains. And we’ll grab this profit here too.
But if, by some chance, at the end of the cycle it turns out there won’t be any altseason—nothing terrible. After all, you already made money on Bitcoin and the big top coins. You did NOT waste your time—you used it productively, and that’s probably the most valuable thing.
And most importantly: you didn’t turn into that green, barely understanding hamster that, cycle after cycle, keeps waiting for its altseason—but things somehow always go wrong.
If you hold BTC, you’ll always grow along with the market. Altcoins are only an attempt to beat that market, but with their own details and risks.
And having both in your portfolio makes it not “unkillable,” but makes the investor truly mature. That’s why BTC is the core and foundation of the portfolio. Alts are the chance for mega “x” gains. But if you do everything wisely, then at the very least you won’t lose money—you’ll earn on Bitcoin.
