$ORCL The earnings report is coming soon. The real question is whether OCI can keep holding up.
Market expectations are that OCI growth could reach around 115%. If that plays out, AI compute demand is still there—Oracle’s AI cloud logic hasn’t finished unfolding yet.
But the biggest trouble right now is Capex. AI data centers have been burning money; revenue rising quickly is one thing, but whether they can ultimately earn the money back is another.
So for this earnings report, personally I care most about OCI growth and the subsequent capital expenditure guidance.
Short term: buy more near 160, aiming for a breakout, then watch the 175–180 area.
If it breaks below $158, step back from the trade for now and wait for the next opportunity.
Before the earnings report, I wouldn’t recommend chasing too high—once the data misses expectations, this kind of stock can still be quite volatile.
