🌙 Evening Recap · 0909
BTC $78,735 | Today’s range was only $473
━━ Honest Recap ━━
In the morning report, it said: “In the direction-selection zone, go long after a pullback toward $78,000, etc.”
What I got right:
✅ “Waiting” was correct. Today’s 4-hour trading range was only $473—forcing entries just hands money to the exchange
✅ $78,725 (MA25) is indeed a resistance level. Price touched $78,929 and got knocked back—both attempts failed
✅ The call about declining open interest/position size was correct. Contracts are de-leveraging; nobody wants to jump in big at this level
What I got wrong:
❌ The long-biased tone was too optimistic. On Sep 7–8 there were two consecutive bearish daily candles (-1.53%, -0.83%). MA7 has already been pushed down to $79,647, and price has been trading below it—so the trend has weakened. The morning report’s “bullish operations” was basically putting a blindfold on
❌ The $78,000 pullback buy point simply wasn’t given. The low only reached $78,456. Those waiting to bottom-fish waited all day
❌ The interpretation of the large-account long/short ratio of 2.13 was too one-sided. Smart money is still holding longs, but the falling position size shows they aren’t adding—just holding and bearing it
━━ What I insist on ━━
No going short. The large-account long/short ratio of 2.13 hasn’t flipped yet. If smart money hasn’t exited, I won’t either.
But I’m changing the stance from “bullish” to “neutral-to-weak, waiting for confirmation.” MA7 is pressing overhead. If even $79,500 can’t be touched, then the long setup doesn’t hold.
━━ The most important level for tomorrow ━━
$79,500
This week it was rejected twice (both 9/7 and 9/8 touched $79,485 then turned back), and it also overlaps with MA7 ($79,647).
Break above it = pullback is over; then reassess $81,000
Fail to break = pressure continues; $78,000 and then $77,600 get hammered in sequence
Both longs and shorts are waiting for this level to declare itself—don’t pick sides too early.
