AKE 7 days +561%, but after I looked at the momentum leaderboard, I felt a chill down my spine instead.
What is the market doing? $BTC 78700 churned all day, $ETH 2500 just wouldn’t break through, and $SOL 103 blocks stayed put—classic sideways consolidation.
But then take another look at the 7-day momentum leaderboard: AKE +561%, BANK +108%, KAITO +50%, STAR +46%...
The index is moving sideways, while altcoins are going crazy. This kind of divergence is something old-timers know too well—“fish tail” action. Not a new cycle.
What’s even more worrying is the volume ratio chart. FLOCK has a volume ratio of 38x, MANTRA 20x, ASML 7.4x—money is quietly coming in, but the price hasn’t exploded yet. This kind of “rising without breaking out” is the smart money’s game.
And coins like AKE—an alt that’s up 5x in a week? It’s probably the last baton. My own rule is firm: I don’t look twice at the coins at the top of the momentum list. Better to miss it than catch a falling knife.
