๐Ÿ’ต The digital dollar gained ground in Brazil.

USDT entered the Top 5 for the number of customers on Mercado Bitcoin for the first time.

It reached 3rd place, behind only Bitcoin and Ethereum.

๐Ÿ“Š But the data that stands out is the volume.

Between January and July 2026, USDT and USDC together moved an amount equivalent to Bitcoin on the platform.

And thereโ€™s more.

BRL1, the stablecoin paired with the real, also entered the Top 5 by volume.

๐Ÿ”Ž The point is simple:

Stablecoins are no longer showing up only as a tool for hedging and liquidity.

Theyโ€™re starting to gain space in trading activity itself.

But thereโ€™s one detail.

That doesnโ€™t mean Brazilians have abandoned speculation. It shows that crypto use may be getting broader.
