CryptoQuant data shows that as of September 8, total exchange reserves across the entire network were about 1488.22 million (15?) coins at $ETH , setting a new multi-year low. Since around July 1, 2025, when reserves were about 21.30 million, approximately 6.42 million have already left exchanges. Binance’s ETH reserves are around 3.74 million, also falling to the lowest level in nearly three months.
During the same period, US spot Ethereum ETFs have net inflows of approximately $2.345 billion since July 1, with assets under management of about $15.57 billion (SoSoValue). On-chain staking is about 43.10 million ETH, representing roughly 35.91% of the circulating supply. In the past two months as $BTC has strengthened, exchange sellable supply has tightened in parallel with institutional accumulation. Going forward, the outlook still depends on the interplay of capital flows and macro timing; it’s not advisable to determine price trends based solely on reserve levels.
