Strategy just reminded the market that even the biggest Bitcoin believers don’t buy every dip.
After purchasing 4,603 $BTC for roughly $370M last week, Strategy reported zero new Bitcoin purchases this week.
Instead, the company put $176.3M toward buying back its own STRC preferred shares and doubled its buyback authorization to $2B.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the Bitcoin strategy is changing. Strategy still holds around 845,050 $BTC .
But it does show something important: managing a massive Bitcoin treasury isn't just about buying $BTC . Liquidity, financing and capital allocation matter too.
Would you rather see Strategy keep buying Bitcoin here, or strengthen its balance sheet first?
