He could never have imagined that the housewife he once mocked—saying, “If you leave me, you won’t even be able to eat”—would, eight years later, carve out another path in the crypto world by herself.

Over these eight years, I experienced losses, liquidation, and deep lows, and I also endured countless nights of staring at charts.

In 2017, I returned to the crypto market with only 100,000 in savings. On the very first day, I lost 30,000.

In that moment, I truly understood: the market never spares you just because your capital is small.

Later, I started to calm down and deeply study the market, summarizing six principles from repeated losses:

When prices rise fast and fall slow, pay attention to capital follow-through. When prices drop fast and rebounds are weak, be alert for capital withdrawal. A high-volume spike at the top doesn’t necessarily mean the peak—focus on whether volume and price action align. Volume at the bottom is only a signal; sustained increasing volume is what deserves more attention. The essence of trading crypto is trading human emotion, and technical analysis is just a tool. Patience is the most valuable ability a trader can have.

These years, I didn’t rely on always being right. I relied on position control, strict stop-losses, and patiently waiting for opportunities.

When the market is favorable, I participate with small positions. When the market is weak, I’d rather stay in cash than blindly chase rallies.
