Saudi Arabia states that 73 people were injured in a Houthi attack on civilian and energy facilities.

A spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition says that Yemen’s Houthis have attacked civilian targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran.

Saudi Arabia has accused Yemen’s Houthi rebels of launching attacks against civilian and economic targets in the kingdom, injuring at least 73 civilians, including women and children.

The accusation came on Tuesday, as fighting intensified in Yemen, where the Saudi-backed, internationally recognized government has launched a counteroffensive to regain territory from the Houthis, who are backed by Iran.

Major General Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, said that the Houthi attacks had hit civilian and economic targets in the provinces of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran.
