Circle has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Tazapay, a Singapore-based B2B cross-border payments infrastructure company. According to Foresight News, the deal is expected to close in 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, including approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Circle said Tazapay processes more than $25 billion in annualized payment volume, works with more than 60 banks and fintech partners, and offers local payment channels across more than 100 markets. Circle said the acquisition would expand its payments infrastructure, and about 60% of Tazapay's transaction volume already includes stablecoins.
