Recently everyone has been talking about AI Agents.

But I think there’s a change worth paying more attention to than a model upgrade:

**AI has already started spending its own money.**

The latest data shows that stablecoin payments initiated by AI Agents have reached a new high this year, though most are tiny micro-payments of a few cents—used to buy APIs, data, and compute power.

Many people might think:

"With amounts that small, what’s the point?"

But the development of the internet, so often, starts with these seemingly insignificant everyday scenarios.

If in the future AI will call tools on its own, purchase services, and complete tasks, then payment capability will become as important as network protocols are today.

So when I look at AI projects lately, I’m spending less time only reading the stories.

I care more about:

* Are there real transactions?
* Is on-chain activity increasing?
* Is usage of stablecoins going up?

I usually check these metrics on **Ave.ai** first.

Many trends don’t suddenly explode.

They’re accumulated on-chain, step by step.

Do you think the biggest on-chain users in the future could be AI Agents?
