🚨 Intel is preparing to increase CPU prices by 10%

According to supply-chain sources, Intel will raise the selling prices of computer chip lines by about 10% starting from early October onward to cope with rising production costs and optimize gross profit margins.

What’s noteworthy is that Intel is willing to raise prices despite forecasts that the PC market will decline in 2027. This shows the tech giant is changing its strategy: prioritizing profits rather than racing to cut prices to gain market share.

However, eliminating product segments with low profit margins could create a golden opportunity for Arm architecture competitors like MediaTek and Qualcomm. Especially in smart devices and industrial computing, Arm chips will have an absolute advantage thanks to their power-saving capabilities.

What do you think, guys—Is Intel’s strategy a confident move or a strategic mistake?
