Hengrui Pharma (01276) said it has received three clinical trial approval notices from China’s National Medical Products Administration, including an open-label, multicentre phase Ib/II study of HRS-6209 capsules combined with other anti-tumour therapies in patients with advanced unresectable or metastatic breast cancer, or HRS-9813 in patients with advanced solid tumours, according to ETNet.

The company also said the regulator approved HRS-1597 tablets for a clinical trial in a weight-management indication and SHR-1179 injection for a clinical trial in a weight-management indication. HRS-6209-related projects have accumulated research and development spending of about RMB160 million, while HRS-1597 and SHR-1179 have accumulated R&D spending of about RMB16.9 million and RMB24.2 million, respectively.
