Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun unveiled four new Xiaomi YU7 models at the company’s autumn flagship product launch on September 7: the YU7 N70 Pro, N70 Max, N90 Max and N90 Max Explorer Edition. The starting prices are 209,900 yuan, 239,900 yuan, 269,900 yuan and 299,900 yuan, respectively, according to Jiemian News.

Xiaomi also said the YU7 N70 is a mainstream SUV built to a 5-3-2 specification, with a length of 4,960 mm, width of 1,998 mm and wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The Pro version uses a 52-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with a CLTC range of 351 km on electric power and 1,351 km combined, while the Max version uses a 76-kWh ternary lithium battery with a CLTC electric range of 505 km. The lineup uses Xiaomi’s 1.5T range extender and supports 92, 95 and 98 octane gasoline.

The N70 Max adds high-performance all-wheel drive, air suspension, continuously variable damping shock absorbers and a HUD. Xiaomi said the smart base uses its four-in-one domain control module, and the full lineup comes standard with a Qualcomm 4nm chip, Nvidia Thor-U 4nm assisted-driving chip, lidar, 4D millimeter-wave radar and lifetime-free HAD assisted driving.

Lei also introduced the N90 Max Explorer Edition, a design variant based on the N90 Max with a native electric lift roof pod. The N90 Max has a seven-seat layout, a CLTC combined range of up to 1,705 km, rear solid-state lidar, a rear passenger control screen and 220V in-car power supply. Xiaomi said the N90 Max Explorer Edition uses a new five-seat layout. Xiaomi Auto said orders topped 10,000 units within four minutes of sales opening.
