Metaplanet – the notorious “BTC-accumulation machine” in Asia – is embroiled in internal turmoil. Could the momentum from big business players be at risk of failing?

CEO Simon Gerovich has just had to rush to reassure public opinion as angry shareholders face the threat of dilution from the company’s 10th warrant program. Internal interests automatically expand every time the company issues additional shares to accumulate coins—combined with murky ties to the MMXX Ventures fund—this has dealt a major blow to investor confidence.

The model of issuing shares to accumulate $BTC is a double-edged sword. Once shareholders turn their backs, it becomes hard for this machine to attract more capital to buy up the assets, causing the market to lose an important pillar of demand.

Currently, $BTC is hovering around $79,065.8 (-1.31% over the past 24h). Sellers may use this bad news as a pretext to press prices and hunt liquidity deeper down. Everyone should focus on keeping cash tight and waiting for confirmation signals instead of rushing to catch a falling knife.
