2026-09-08 A few things about contracts
There are quite a few market hotspots today—let’s briefly discuss them.
Market: BTC 78964 (-1.35%), 24h high 80560 low 78680. ETH 2484, -1.00%. Trading volume is somewhat subdued, with no clear direction.
A few structural observations:
1. On Sundays, BTC’s order book depth is usually only 60–70% of normal, meaning even relatively small capital can trigger relatively large moves.
2. ETH’s exchange rate has been holding steadily between 0.028 and 0.029; the rebound strength is weaker than BTC, and funds are still taking refuge in BTC.
3. Today the funding rate is positive, around 0.01%, suggesting longs are paying but not in a hurry—so liquidation pressure is not high.
Framework:
- If price breaks through key levels, you can follow with a small position; place a stop-loss below the structural level.
- Key levels: above 65800 / 66500, below 62800 / 61500
- One-way exposure should not exceed 2x account equity; stop-loss placed outside the structural level
- Liquidity is thin on weekends—use limit orders ahead of market orders
