Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to monitoring by Bitcoin News, at 9:09 a.m. Pacific Time, a white-hat hacker returned 3,400 BTC to the Liquid Federation, but communication between the two parties is still ongoing. At 9:51 a.m., the hacker broadcast a new PGP-encrypted message to Blockstream. At 10:40 a.m., Blockstream sent an encrypted message signed with PGP to it via a new address. At 11:07 a.m., the hacker spent the 1,000 sats attached to the Blockstream message, confirming that the latest round of information exchange belongs to the same communication session. As of now, the content of the message remains unknown; the hacker still holds about 598.5 BTC.
