You’ve probably heard the word “Blockchain” a lot. Here’s a simple explanation.

Imagine a digital ledger where transactions are recorded, and copies of it are distributed across a large number of network devices.

Each set of transactions is collected into a “block,” and the blocks are linked together to form a chain.

That’s why it’s called:

Let’s assume you want to send $BTC to someone else.

1️⃣ You create a sending transaction.
2️⃣ The network receives the transaction.
3️⃣ It is verified according to the network’s rules.
4️⃣ The transaction is added to the Blockchain.
5️⃣ The new balance appears in your wallets.

📌 You don’t send a “coin” over the internet; instead, the ledger that proves ownership of the BTC is updated.
