A price reaching a new area doesn’t interest me as much as how little that area may eventually tell the market.
That’s what I’m feeling with AUCTION today.
As the boundaries around the price continue to move into the past, the market’s reference points begin to change as well. Areas we once looked at to make decisions can slowly become nothing more than traces of where the market used to be.
I pay close attention to moments like this.
Because sometimes, before the price really moves, the market’s own measurements begin to change.
That’s what the current structure is making me think.
Holding above the $3.50 area and testing the $3.58–$3.60 zone again doesn’t only show me a path toward $4.
It suggests to me that the market is beginning to accept a wider range of value.
So my position is clear: I’m bullish.
A move to $4 no longer looks unusual to me. But what matters more is whether the market will still be thinking in its old measurements once that level is reached.
Because some moves don’t simply reach a target.
After a while, they make the idea of that target meaningless.
