Ngwe Saung is known as one of Myanmarâs most beautiful beaches. With its clear, clean sea-blue waters, golden sand flats, and a long, wide coastline, it captivates every travelerâs heart. However, as more and more visitors come, it becomes truly heartbreaking to see plastic bottles, bags, and scattered food snack wrappers spread across the sandy shore.
Today, I joined Binanceâs Clean Up Day campaign and started cleaning along the Ngwe Saung beach by holding a trash bag and gloves myself. I found all sorts of waste, from plastic bottles scattered near the shoreline, to can lids, fishing nets, and even old toothbrushes. I worked hard for more than an hour to collect everything. As a result, I managed to gather about the equivalent of two large trash bags.
Why do we want a cleaner environment?
Each piece of plastic waste we throw away every day, when it ends up in the sea, often remains for decades without breaking down. This not only poses a risk to sea fish, turtles, and other living creatures that live in the water, but also damages the entire ecosystem as a whole. A clean environment and a sea beach are not only part of natureâs beautyâthey are essential for our long-term survival and thriving.
Moreover, a clean beach helps support the local economy and tourism. It will also become a healthy playground for the next generation of children. Keeping a beach clean is our responsibility, and when each personâs small efforts come together, they can create big changes and great results.
Binanceâs environmental conservation campaign
Thanks to Binanceâs campaigns like this, itâs great to see that many people are paying more attention to environmental protection. Iâm very happy to see that by sharing the cleaning activities from different regions on social media, we can encourage other people to develop a love for the natural environment as well. I also want to recognize Binanceâs spirit of taking responsibility not only in the Web3 and Blockchain ecosystem, but also in helping to keep the outside world clean and well.
Iâd like to encourage everyone to continue to preserve this beautiful beach together for future travelers, children, and local residents. You too, please join in to help keep nearby beaches, lakes, and rivers and streams clean. Even though our actions may seem small, when everyone comes together, we can change the world into something more beautiful! đđ
