9.7 Gold Evening Strategy

Market Analysis
Gold evening continues its downward rhythm. During the session, prices keep probing new lows, and the price runs along the lower band of the Bollinger Bands. The 5-minute MACD remains below the zero line, green histogram bars have been fully released, bearish momentum is strong, and the channel shows a clear downward divergence. The short-term weakness is evident. Any rebound should be treated only as a technical correction—do not easily jump in to bottom-fish.

Fundamentals
U.S. services sector data came in better than market expectations. The market is increasingly pricing in the possibility that the Federal Reserve will delay the timing of rate cuts. The U.S. dollar and Treasury yields remain at high levels, continuing to put downward pressure on gold. At present, there is no sudden major geopolitical event that provides strong safe-haven support. Gold lacks upside drivers, and bears remain in control.

Trading Recommendations
On rebounds, set sell (short) positions within the 4400–4410 range.
