On Solana, the ZEC pool meme coin $ZCAT is surging, while $STONK rallied and then pulled back: what Solana is speculating on this round is not $ZEC , but a new wealth-making machine

Solana Meme capital is beginning to form a new trading flywheel around StonkFun.

ZCAT once surged to a market cap of about $170 million, up more than 220% in 24 hours; STONK climbed to about $188 million before retreating to around $137 million, though it was still up about 225% in 24 hours.

The market logic is very straightforward: ZCAT ties Meme and ZEC yield together, and its 3% trading mechanism creates a narrative of ZEC buying and holder distribution; STONK is the platform token. The former's sharp rise naturally pushes funds toward the “next ZCAT,” which in turn speculates on the platform's value.

But STONK's rally and pullback also show that capital has begun to diverge. The platform generated about $110,000 in fees over the past 24 hours and about $1.23 million over the past 30 days, so STONK's rise is clearly running ahead of fundamental revenue.

My view: what is being traded now is Solana's new round of Meme wealth effect, not ZEC fundamentals. ZCAT is responsible for creating the myth, while STONK is responsible for capturing platform expectations. The problem is that once a Meme rally starts discussing the “next 100x coin,” it usually means the frenzy has entered an acceleration phase — it rises fastest, but also falls back fastest.
